July 14: DCI leads the helicopter parade!
This July 14, Defense Conseil International (DCI) is particularly proud to open the helicopter flypast during the national celebration.
The first 6 helicopters to fly over the Champs-Élysées are operated or maintained by DCI, illustrating our commitment to the defense and training of French armed forces and partners.
- 3 EC120 ‘CALLIOPE’ helicopters, recognizable by their red and white livery, are operated and maintained by DCI via our subsidiary HELIDAX, on behalf of the Brigade École of the 6th Combat Helicopter Regiment (RHC) of the EALAT – École de l’ALAT in Dax. These aircraft, specially modified for training purposes, have been training helicopter pilots and instructors from the three armed services and the Gendarmerie since 2008, and are involved in international partnerships.
- 3 Fennec AS 555 helicopters maintained by our teams for the 2e RHC Base School at Le Cannet des Maures. DCI provides line and industrial maintenance for this fleet, which is essential for training and operational readiness.
